June 2020 – The Pitt Meadows Fire Department’s drive-by birthday program has now ended. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Also, please note that due to the imminent construction of our new fire hall and our resulting move to our temporary facility during the construction process, our availability for public events will be limited for the foreseeable future. This will include hot summer nights. Hall Tours will also be unavailable until our new facility is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.
PMFRS offers a variety of programs to school and community groups on a continuous, as requested basis.
- Fire Prevention School Programs
- Community Group Fire Hall Tours – Please note that we cannot accommodate groups of more than 25 for hall tours.
- Training Sessions (i.e. fire extinguishers)
- Hot Summer Nights (evenings in July and August) – Please note that if Stage 2, 3 or 4 watering restrictions are in effect on the day of a hot summer nights event, we will not be able to spray water.
In addition, the presence of fire apparatus and fire fighters at numerous community events is also used as a vehicle for getting the message of fire safety out to the citizens and businesses in the community.
If you would like to request an event, please fill out the form below and we will respond to your message. Please note that we will only respond during regular business hours.
