Information
The mandate of the fire department has been changing over
recent years and it is becoming increasingly important to focus a
significant amount of time and resources toward public education
in the area of Fire & Life Safety Education. Education in the home
and at work in fire safety and injury prevention is necessary and
your fire department is committed to helping get this message out
and to assist with the training of the citizens of Pitt Meadows.
PMFRS offers Fire Prevention School Programs and Community Group
Fire Hall tours and training sessions on a continuous, as
requested basis. In addition, the presence of fire apparatus and
fire fighters at numerous community events is also used as a
vehicle for getting the message of fire safety out to the citizens
and businesses in the community. For more information on Fire
Prevention and School Programs contact Asst. Chief Brad Perrie
